Book Review
RED QUEEN (Pit Stop Series #1)
⭐ Rating: 4/5
🌶️ Spice: 5/5
Review:
As an F1 fan, this book was honestly a treat. This was the first book I've read where F1 was the central sport.
Enough of my rambling, onto the book.
The banter? To die for.
The romance? Amazing.
The spice? I'll just leave it at that.
And there’s a lot of fluff too.
Rosa
"You know the feeling when your day is going great, you look spectacular and you’re just in time for your meeting? Yeah, me neither."
An unapologetic, bold woman who stands up for herself. I liked how she gave Mateo the support he needed while still keeping her boundaries. However, I wish her career had been explored a bit more.
Mateo
"Mhm, crazy for you. Because every man
has needs. And you are mine, Rosa. I need
you."
An F1 racer whose team colors reminded me of Ferrari and attitude of Lando. While I do love a sassy male lead, I don’t love a self-obsessed one with the communication skills of a toddler. In his defense, he does eventually communicate....but I feel like 90% of their couple drama could’ve been solved if they had just talked to each other.
Overall, it was an enjoyable, fast-paced read with a lot of banter, humor, and smut. A must-read for all F1 fans.
I want to keep gushing about this book, but i have an exam to pass...but I promise i will be back to discuss this.
And also the book will resume after the 14th, provided my proffesors haven't murdered me by then
BYE!!!
