The beginning: Ali Abdaal Made Me Do It (And I Don’t Regret It…Yet)

*Drum roll*
Welcome to the funeral service of my New Year’s resolutions.
May they rest in the cluttered pages of my journal—unbothered, untouched, and completely unachieved.

Last night—well technically, early this morning—I found myself spiraling down the productivity video rabbit hole at 2 AM (classic).

Fueled by this sudden wave of 2 AM motivation, and after running around the hospital all morning, here I am—dramatically committing to something I heard in a YouTube video by Ali Abdaal.
(Did I mention he’s my absolute favourite human being)

In the video, Ali talks about setting quarterly goals—one big focus for the quarter—and breaking them down into smaller, actionable quests. The idea is to work toward one singular most important thing that’ll move the needle toward your bigger, yearly vision.

Now, technically, I should be reviewing my first quarter right about now.
But hey—better late than never, right?

So here’s the plan: I’m starting a 30-day series called “30 Days in Scrubs”—a little project to bring my goals to life and maybe romanticize the chaos of med school along the way.
I’ll be posting every day as part of this series. So come along with me while I struggle? to post everyday. Let’s see where this goes.
